Hello! I’m Michelle. I won’t reiterate my About page and introduction, but I am a college student who loves to write and inspire others. Enjoy!

The weather has been disappointing for two weeks now. From rain and freezing temperatures, to a humid and hot weekend, and now back to freezing! Grade schools in four parishes are already closed in case there will be ice on the roads tomorrow, and we’re still waiting anxiously to see if we’ll still have classes. It seems a little silly to cancel school because ice may still be on the roads…but we aren’t prepared for driving in those conditions like our lovely friends in the North. People here don’t even drive well in the rain, and that’s half of our year…

That said, I wouldn’t mind a few cancelled classes! 😉 There is a paper to write, paintings to be painted, and books to read that I wouldn’t have time for otherwise. Living in a dorm hinders some of my great rainy/icy day ideas. I would love to bake cookies or cook a creative warm meal, but the microwave will do. I hope the weather where you live isn’t driving you nuts, but when isn’t it?!

❤ Michelle
