“Come, little leaves,” said the Wind one day; “Come to the meadows with me—and play. Put on your dresses of red and gold; for summer is past, and the days grow cold.”
– George Cooper
The days were turning cold, until yesterday. The temperature is rising as well as the humidity. I spent most of the day inside, despite the sunny nature of today’s sky. I painted my nails and drank (slightly disappointing) coffee while reading Leah Remini’s book, Troublemaker. If you were skeptical about it before, I’ll tell you it’s worth the read! Especially if you enjoy Remini’s comedy. She’s a gem—one in a million. [Cliché Alert]
Today was becoming as vibrant as a bouquet of dried flowers until I was able to drive to my beau’s for dinner and video games. Mostly I just played Pokémon GO (which, by the way, if you still play, make the most of the Halloween Pokémon and that extra candy). It was a relaxing and special night after all. I just found some bedtime yoga poses to try out, so hopefully I will sleep more soundly tonight and nights to come.
Sweet dreams, everyone.
